Ese otro es admirado y odiado, anhelado y temido. El otro\u00a0 encarna fascinaci\u00f3n y terror a la vez. Esa tensi\u00f3n llev\u00f3 a personajes como el poeta\u00a0 franc\u00e9s Arthur Rimbaud a enunciar una frase contundente: \u201c<em>Je suis un autre<\/em>. \u201d El poeta\u00a0 al autoafirmar su identidad frente a la otredad, est\u00e1 tendiendo un puente con ese otro\u00a0 que ya habita en nosotros mismos, con ese otro que deviene un extra\u00f1o, un extranjero\u00a0 en su propio territorio de la identidad. En estos t\u00e9rminos la otredad no es m\u00e1s que un\u00a0concepto que ensancha nuestros propios l\u00edmites. Esto mismo sucede con la obra de\u00a0 Nad\u00edn Ospina quien desde hace 34 a\u00f1os viene explorando varios mundos, en donde la\u00a0 enso\u00f1aci\u00f3n y lo on\u00edrico, la memoria y la historia, la postura cr\u00edtica frente al colonialismo\u00a0 y el racismo, lo l\u00fadico y lo real, lo ind\u00edgena y la cultura pop, el cine y la m\u00fasica, el comic\u00a0 y los juguetes, recrean esos <strong><em>otros mundos <\/em><\/strong>que hacen parte de nuestra cultura h\u00edbrida,\u00a0 abigarrada y mestiza.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"textojustificado wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>OTROS MUNDOS <\/strong>es el t\u00edtulo de la muestra de Nad\u00edn Ospina en el espacio <em>AH Fine Art&nbsp; <\/em>en Medell\u00edn. Esta ciudad es muy significativa para el artista, pues aqu\u00ed arranc\u00f3 su&nbsp; carrera profesional en firme: El curador Alberto Sierra lo seleccion\u00f3 para el primer&nbsp; sal\u00f3n de arte universitario del pa\u00eds: el Sal\u00f3n Arturo y Rebeca Rabinovich que tuvo lugar&nbsp; en el Museo de Arte Moderno de esta ciudad en 1981, a partir de entonces Ospina&nbsp; incursion\u00f3 con fuerza en el mundo del arte al ganarse uno de los premios con sus&nbsp; \u201cpinturas tridimensionales\u201d. En el 2009 su obra regresa a la ciudad al espacio p\u00fablico&nbsp; del edificio inteligente del Bancolombia con el imponente \u201cSuperman Pensador\u201d. Resplandor (2013)<\/em>, <em>Oniria&nbsp; (2012)<\/em>, <em>Colombialand (2008)<\/em>, <em>El ojo del tigre <\/em>(1998), <em>El gran sue\u00f1o americano (1993)<\/em>,&nbsp; <em>Santuario (1991)<\/em>, <em>Amazonia <\/em>(1998) entre otras piezas emblem\u00e1ticas que ya son \u00edcono&nbsp; dentro del arte internacional como la serie de hibridaciones entre las figuras del <em>comic <\/em>americano hibridaciones culturales y una nueva figuraci\u00f3n con elementos neo-pop. El&nbsp; era un hombre al servicio de la corona inglesa, muy prejuiciado, sus grabados comunicaban este prejuicio, todo el retrato de la Am\u00e9rica descubierta por los ib\u00e9ricos&nbsp; estaba imbuido de un aura de monstruosidad llena de personajes sospechosos, de todo&nbsp; tipo de seres malignos, diab\u00f3licos. Figurillas de un monaguillo, un camera man, el hombre del bander\u00edn de las carreras de autos, un\u00a0 califa, una monja, un penitente, un Buda sentado sobre un b\u00fafalo, una dama que aprende\u00a0 a caminar elegantemente (marchante) con un misterioso objeto en su cabeza, figuras\u00a0 agrandadas y pintadas con colores pop, nos recuerdan ese universo retro de los a\u00f1os\u00a0 sesenta donde lo kitsch es exaltado. Esta serie de objetos hace parte de un intento de\u00a0 evocar ese mundo de la enso\u00f1aci\u00f3n que el infante y el artista necesitan para recrear\u00a0 <strong><em>otros mundos <\/em><\/strong>acentuando esa fascinaci\u00f3n de toda una generaci\u00f3n por la revoluci\u00f3n de\u00a0 los pol\u00edmeros y sus colores sint\u00e9ticos tal y como lo mostraban las revistas que\u00a0 influenciaron a la generaci\u00f3n nacida en la d\u00e9cada de los sesenta: <em>Reader Digest <\/em>and <em>Life<\/em>.\u00a0 Lo Pop hace su presencia en el mundo de la representaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica. Artistas como Yves Klein, perteneciente al movimiento impulsado por&nbsp; el te\u00f3rico Pierre Restany Los <em>Nuevos Realistas<\/em>, logran superar este momento creando&nbsp; nuevos lenguajes. Sin lugar a duda la expansi\u00f3n pict\u00f3rica de este artista y otros&nbsp; interesados en los cambios de formato, sirvieron de referencia a los primeros trabajos&nbsp; pl\u00e1sticos de Ospina, quien decide seguir utilizando el color, pero problematizando su soporte pict\u00f3rico. La pintura va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del recuadro y comienza a tomar volumen, se&nbsp; vuelve tridimensional. Algo\u00a0 similar sucede en la obra de Ospina en donde existe una apuesta contundente al\u00a0 cuestionamiento de ciertos valores inamovibles sobre la pureza que bien se puede\u00a0 aplicar a exclusiones raciales y tambi\u00e9n a asuntos que ata\u00f1en a las pr\u00e1cticas culturales.\u00a0 <em>Bizarros y cr\u00edticos <\/em>es una serie que controvierte el asunto del \u201ccr\u00edtico monol\u00edtico\u201d. Aqu\u00ed\u00a0 aparece por primera vez el cr\u00edtico de arte, materializado en Bart Simpson quien se\u00a0 exhibe con cierta rigidez propia de la piedra. Aqu\u00ed la estrella de la serie televisiva de\u00a0 dibujos animados, se amalgama con la estatuaria precolombina abriendo as\u00ed un camino\u00a0 importante que deja sentadas las bases de la serie <em>El gran sue\u00f1o americano<\/em>, que re\u00fane\u00a0 una serie de obras provocadoras donde personajes de la cultura pop y del comic como\u00a0 el rat\u00f3n Mickey se fusionan con los materiales y posturas de las figuras pre-colombinas.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"textojustificado wp-block-paragraph\">De esta manera la hibridez cuestiona el asunto monol\u00edtico de la pureza que sobre todo&nbsp; en esta \u00e9poca hace que las fronteras sean superadas. C\u00f3mo&nbsp; estos asuntos identitarios se ven representados perversamente por el primer mundo a&nbsp; trav\u00e9s de juegos como Lego. En un encuentro fortuito en Par\u00eds con uno de estos juegos,&nbsp; Nad\u00edn Ospina vio como es representado al ind\u00edgena y al aut\u00f3ctono latinoamericano, con&nbsp; desconcierto e indignaci\u00f3n descubre como los clich\u00e9s coloniales a\u00fan est\u00e1n presentes y&nbsp; peor a\u00fan en juegos de los ni\u00f1os europeos. Esta presencia animal que pintada de manera monocroma&nbsp; se dispone sobre la pared, creando instalaciones seriales. En ocasiones estas obras son&nbsp; fragmentos de animales que hacen pensar curiosamente en trofeos de caza. Aqu\u00ed&nbsp; aparece una reminiscencia mitol\u00f3gica donde el animal se ve como un objeto en v\u00eda de&nbsp; extinci\u00f3n, pero no solamente el animal en s\u00ed, sino nuestra relaci\u00f3n con la animalidad,&nbsp; con los elementos simb\u00f3licos y tot\u00e9micos que hacen de la representaci\u00f3n zoom\u00f3rfica&nbsp; un elemento de identificaci\u00f3n sicol\u00f3gica. En el centro sentada una hermosa mujer elegantemente\u00a0 vestida con rasgos ind\u00edgenas. Era su tatarabuela. Las series de televisi\u00f3n, la cultura visual popular, recogen de\u00a0 una u otra manera esos viejos temores y fascinaciones que ya exist\u00edan en \u00e9pocas\u00a0 coloniales tratados por el artista. Los viajeros en esta ocasi\u00f3n son seres intergal\u00e1cticos\u00a0 que nos permiten centrarnos, con mucho humor e iron\u00eda en encuentros imposibles \u201cdel\u00a0 tercer tipo\u201d: el habitante del planeta Vulcano se encuentra pl\u00e1cidamente sentado con\u00a0 su intercomunicador en mano, al lado de un simp\u00e1tico y desvalido retablo Quimbaya.\u00a0 La tele-transportaci\u00f3n en este caso ha posibilitado el viaje estelar a trav\u00e9s del tiempo,\u00a0 generando un encuentro poco usual casi surrealista.
