Acr\u00edlico sobre tela, ensamblaje de madera, resina de poli\u00e9ster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"textojustificado wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cJaque\u201d la obra presentada al <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wordreference.com\/definicion\/alim\u00f3n%20(al)\">alim\u00f3n<\/a>, por Nad\u00edn Ospina y Carlos Salas al sal\u00f3n regional &#8211;&nbsp;&nbsp;seccional Bogot\u00e1 &#8211;&nbsp;en 1994,&nbsp;es un trabajo redondo&nbsp;&nbsp;y en donde las ideas de simulaci\u00f3n, apropiaci\u00f3n y juego, en el sentido de apuesta y goce, han sido bien expuestas y por lo tanto pueden ser  llevadas a sus \u00faltimas consecuencias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"textojustificado wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cJaque\u201d t\u00edtulo con&nbsp;&nbsp;una clara referencia al duelo ajedrec\u00edstico, tiene todas las constantes del arte de Salas, adem\u00e1s de los qui\u00f1os permanentes que identifican a Nad\u00edn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"textojustificado wp-block-paragraph\">Es una obra de enorme formato, dividida racionalmente en fragmentos&nbsp;&nbsp;independientes, pero que si se quiere funcionan como un todo combinable, donde cada uno&nbsp;&nbsp;es el summun de una buena dosis de ideas filos\u00f3ficas o est\u00e9ticas y donde existe una controlada aura l\u00fadica, con sus respectivos elementos pr\u00f3ximos a una \u201c visi\u00f3n medi\u00e1tica pasada por el filtro de una exaltante&nbsp;&nbsp;artesan\u00eda&nbsp;&nbsp;o de la alta tecnolog\u00eda y todas las posibilidades intermedias\u201d. Esto se vislumbra en la cuidadosa&nbsp;construcci\u00f3n de este extenso objeto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"textojustificado wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cJaque\u201c quieres ser una de las variantes est\u00e9ticas posibles en el pr\u00f3ximo futuro y para ello se vale de elementos recurrente en todo el arte de finales de los 80\u00b4s como la apropiaci\u00f3n y la seducci\u00f3n visual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"textojustificado wp-block-paragraph\">Cuales ser\u00edan estas apropiaciones?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"textojustificado wp-block-paragraph\">En el caso de Salas, abstractas por supuesto. Tienen que ver con los modelos de Piet Mondrian. Barnet Newman o Donald Judd, pero al contrario de estos no van por la ausencia del objeto, sino por su constituci\u00f3n.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"textojustificado wp-block-paragraph\">Esta tambi\u00e9n el referente gratificante de Imi Knoebel con su disposici\u00f3n del color en las partes externas o con los marcos de sus cuadros<a href=\"\/\/DE292DE3-A42D-4851-BA9C-F9C517F3A10B#_ftn2\"><sup>[2]<\/sup><\/a>y esta su propia autoreferencia.&nbsp;&nbsp;Todo en plan dexcontextualizador.&nbsp;&nbsp;Salas sintetiza y subvierte hitos de la tradici\u00f3n abstracta para crear su propio ajedrez , tratando de eliminar los antagonismos, en una combinaci\u00f3n de sus propio imaginario mas acorde con los nuevos tiempos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"textojustificado wp-block-paragraph\">En el caso de Ospina est\u00e1 la apropiaci\u00f3n de Jeff Koons, en especial el de los objetos de \u201c juguetes para ejecutivos\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"textojustificado wp-block-paragraph\">Es decir, esculturas hechas en serie y en peque\u00f1o formato que tienen mucho de fetiche, de artefacto, de juguete. En este caso Nadin remplaza el bronce por el pl\u00e1stico y toma como apropiado pretexto el cuadro en alto relieve industrial el caballito de mar, un elemento con una fuerte carga infantil y enso\u00f1adora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"textojustificado wp-block-paragraph\">Aunque estas apropiaciones son asumidas, trituradas, demolidas y transformadas, los artistas no intentan en ning\u00fan momento ocultarlas, al contrario, parecen buscar la partici\u00f3n del publico informado, al ofrecer un inmenso fresco donde puedan reflexionar sobre hitos hist\u00f3ricos de la modernidad reciente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"textojustificado wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cJaque\u201d tiene un hermen\u00e9utico&nbsp;&nbsp;y ambiguo olor tecno y retro a la vez, al intentar ser la condensaci\u00f3n de una est\u00e9tica vista y proponer una est\u00e9tica presentida, donde la obra se encontrar\u00eda&nbsp;&nbsp;no como reflejo, sino como acto, como hecho visual. Un hecho con connotaciones a las obras del renacimiento, tan cargados de referentes a otras est\u00e9ticas o textos espec\u00edficospero que se nos presentan originales y apropiadas a las circunstancias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"textojustificado wp-block-paragraph\">Finalmente \u201c Jaque\u201d esta sustentado en un seductor ejercicio de formas, colores y planteamientos, habilidosos e inteligentes, donde se respira un buen conocimiento de los planteamientos est\u00e9ticos del siglo XX y donde se busca comunicar por medio de una colorida e impactante puesta en escena, reforzada por brillantes juegos mentales.\u201d En este sentido contradice la frase de Duchamp \u201c bestia como un pintor\u201d y pone de manifiesto que los artistas tambi\u00e9n piensan, tienen ideas e intentan transmitirlas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"textojustificado wp-block-paragraph\">Patricio Andrei Polania.
